In August 2023, GEL client Darrell Fletcher was awarded over $960K in compensatory damages by a jury for his racial bias suit against the Howard County Department of Public Works. After an eight-day trial, the jury found that Howard County failed to stop racial harassment to which Mr. Fletcher had been subjected.
