On February 20, 2026, GEL Partner Kevin L. Owen received an award from NELA-NJ (the New Jersey affiliate of the National Employment Lawyers Association), presented at NELA-NJ’s 2026 Employment Law Conference. Mr. Owen shared the “Courageous Counsel” Award with his co-counsel, Dana Gold and Andrea Meza from the Government Accountability Project. The award recognized Mr. Owen’s and his co-counsel’s representation of DOJ whistleblower Erez Reuveni, a case which has received public attention.
