GEL Counsel Elizabeth A. Wilson was quoted in an article published by the Baltimore Sun on July 27, 2023. In the article titled “What does Maryland’s recreational cannabis law mean for the workplace? It’s not always clear-cut” authored by reporter Lorraine Mirabella, Ms. Wilson described the complicated relationship between the law legalizing recreational marijuana and employment law. She told the Sun “It seems like the Maryland legislature has some mixed feelings about the direction they’re going in, because they haven’t wanted to give employers a clear signal that recreational use of marijuana is now OK within the state of Maryland.” To read the full article, click here.
