The National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) announced a rulemaking comment which it filed in November 2022 with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). The NELA comments concerned issued related to the EEOC’s use of e-mail service of documents in litigation before the EEOC, as well as concerning issues regarding the EEOC’s Public Portal electronic docket website. GEL Senior Counsel Elbridge W. Smith and GEL Counsel Andrew J. Perlmutter assisted in drafting the comments and their contributions were recognized by NELA in the announcement.
