GEL Counsel Andrew J. Perlmutter has been named one of the new co-chairs of Federal Sector Practice group within the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA). Mr. Perlmutter and his co-chairs are taking over from their longtime predecessors, GEL Senior Counsel Elbridge W. Smith and his co-chair. NELA is an organization comprised of plaintiff-side labor and employment attorneys from across the nation whose mission is to “empower workers’ rights attorneys through legal training, promoting a fair judiciary, and advocating for laws and policies that level the playing field for workers.”
