Where Employment And Civil Rights Meet
Since opening our firm in 2005, we’ve represented employees who have experienced unlawful treatment in the workplace. We represent employees who believe they have been passed over for a job or promotion because of the color of their skin, their sex or age, or because they have a disability. We have assisted employees who need an accommodation because of their disability or religion to be able to meaningfully continue their employment. We have helped employees who have been subjected to sexual assault and harassment in the workplace, or who are treated differently because of their sexual orientation or being transgender.
We help clients fighting against all areas of discrimination covered by federal and applicable state and local laws. We help clients who have experienced retaliation for standing up against discrimination or other wrongdoing in the workplace, or who are retaliated against for engaging in whistleblowing activity.
We also represent federal employees facing suspensions, demotions or removals from federal service, or who need assistance with security clearance issues or applying for disability retirement matters. We additionally represent employees who have not been compensated correctly or are victims of wage theft.
We know you have a great deal invested in your career. If your job, your security clearance or other employment benefits are threatened, you need a powerful advocate on your side. Based just outside of Washington, D.C., we regularly represent workers throughout the United States and employees who work for federal agencies, including those working for the U.S. government in foreign countries and consulates. Our lawyers are known for skillfully advocating for clients before federal agencies such as the EEOC, the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB), the Office of Special Counsel (OSC), the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and before state and federal courts. We welcome employees who are facing discrimination in the workplace to contact our office by calling 888-676-8096.
