Chauna Pervis

Ms. Chauna Pervis is a post graduate law clerk with Gilbert Employment Law. Before joining the firm as a post graduate law clerk in 2017, Ms. Pervis served as a law clerk both at Gilbert Employment Law, P.C. and another plaintiff-side employment law firm in Washington, D.C., where she assisted on a wide range of issues including unpaid wages, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.

Ms. Pervis earned her Juris Doctorate from American University Washington College of Law. During law school, Ms. Pervis served as an intern to Commissioner Chai R. Feldblum of the EEOC. She was a student attorney in American University’s Civil Trial Advocacy Clinic and an articles editor of the American University Business Law Review. Ms. Pervis was also a Legal Rhetoric Myers Society Distinguished Fellow and Chief of Staff of the Mid-Atlantic Black Law Student Association.

Ms. Pervis graduated with honors from Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Sociology.
